Update

We have started cleaning out some of the stuff in the house! WOW! It's so hard to believe how much stuff you accumulate in just 5 years. We have several piles. Stuff to sale, stuff to store, stuff to take, stuff to give to different families, stuff (heirlooms) for our families to store for us so we don't have to put into storage. Today we got a lot done. Got rid of some big stuff and Brent and I both feel like it was a productive day:) Several have asked when we will put to house on the market. We are waiting till we receive the acceptance letter from the college. Once we get that then we will put the house on the market and pray that it sells within a couple of months. We have most of the packet done. By the way just thought that you would like to know that I even had to write an essay about my salvation and my support for him. It had to be 250-500 words! Once I started it wasn't as hard as I thought that it would be. Brent and I are pretty much done with what we can do for the application process. He will be preaching tomorrow night at church at 6pm. Then the church and Bro Jeff have some papers to fill out and we have a couple of other people that have to fill out some papers and then once all the papers are in then it could take up to 30 days (hoping it's less) for them to go through his application. It is starting to be so real. Trying not to stress and worry. I know that God is in control and that I have to turn it all over to Him. In March we will go and tour the campus. Getting really excited about that. I have heard so many wonderful things about the area and college there.

New Journey for us.

Our family will be starting a new journey. We have been praying for a while about this and have an amazing peace about it. Brent has applied to go to seminary at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina. This is something that God has been working on Brent for years but like Jonah we have ran from what God has wanted us to do. I have joked before that there was no way that I could be a pastors wife since I could not sing or play the piano. If all goes well and he gets accepted we plan on being there for the Fall semester 2011. That means moving in July or August. We have so much to do like getting the house ready for sale. Pretty much we will be selling almost everything. We will be living on campus housing which is a lot smaller than what we are use to. I will be the main provider. Well God will be the Provider. I know that He is going to provide me with a job that will get us through this journey. I'm not sure how much blogging I will be doing but I will at least try and blog enough to keep everyone up to date on what is going on. Please pray for us as we allow God to lead us in this new direction.
This morning we told our Sunday School class. Then tonight we went forward and told the church that we will be surrendering to Gods will to go to seminary. The support from everyone is so over whelming. And of course we have the support of both of our families. Thanks for the prayers. Please keep praying for us. Even though I have a great peace about it I am scared about it too. It will be hard leaving what is so familiar to us, family, friends and our church home that we love so much!
