Here is another purse with the same pattern that I made today. This is for my mother-in-law for Christmas. Don't worry she won't see it. She doesn't have Internet. I did change a few things on it but still basically the same. She likes Betty Boop.

Christmas ideas

This is for my friend Katie. But some you others might enjoy some of the links. Katie and I were talking about Christmas gifts and sewing. I was telling her that if I could learn to sew she could too and telling her how easy it was. (All the things my friend Shelly has told me.) So I told her about some easy projects and this purse is one of them and the pattern is online. Here is how you get to it. Go to www.diynetwork.com click on Crafts and then go to the search box and type in "Simply Stylish Tote" click on the first link. The picture is of a blue and brown purse. Here is also another website that has some awsome projects that are easy and would make good gifts. www.jcarolinecreative.com At the top click on how to's. Katie, the thing we were talking about the tags is under baby burp cloths. Check out the one on Fabric Applique. You use a reg. sewing machine for that and they are cute. I saw some the other day at a craft fair for $13 on hand towels for a bathroom. I can't wait to see what you come up with. I know you can do it! Not all the crafts on jcaroline need a sewing machine. I have also ordered stuff from this website and was very pleased. Katie is also shows how to do a fabric covered button! Hope you get some great ideas. Now I must go and start sewing some gifts myself!

Fall Pictures

Here are some pictures that I just took. I had very limited time. Will was only willing to do this during the half time of the football game. It was very cold out there. We might try and get out there tomorrow since we don't have school! I wanted to take them somewhere but time has just slipped away from us. So we did it in the back yard again for the 3rd Fall in a row. We are going to have fun taking care of the leaves.

Here are 2 burp cloths that I made for a lady in our Sunday School class.

My little soap maker

Here are some pictures of Faith making soap at Grandma's. Grandma helped her do this on Tuesday since they didn't have to go to school. She had a lot of fun and made some very nice soaps.

JUSTIN WE ARE SO PROUD OF YOU!!!!!!!

Last night we were so honored to go to
Justin's last football game (Senior Night) at the Clarksville Academy! The kids even thought that this beat trick-or-treating. They sprayed their hair blue and put blue face paint on. I have known Justin since he was 5 years old and have had the privilege to watch him grow into a fine young Christian man. Justin you played a great game last night!! 24-0!! You have so many fans! Hope we didn't embarrass you too bad!

Justin and one of his biggest fans, Will!

Tailgating fun before the game! We had so much great food!

For those of you that wanted that recipe for the dip, here it is.
2 Blocks of Cream Cheese
1 can of RoTel
1 box of precooked Sausage patties (Jimmy Dean 9.6 0z)
Chop sausage and put all into a crock pot. So easy! Use corn chips for dipping!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to our dog, Rebekah! She turned 10 on Halloween. No, she did not get cake or presents. She is a huge part of our family though. If she had a birthday on any other day I'm not sure that I would remember it.
