Jump Zone!

Today Brent was off too. We decided to go to a new place here in town called Jump Zone. Will and Brent had went once before for a Birthday party that Will was invited to. We had a blast! It costs $7 per child and parents are FREE, and parents can go on the slides too. Brent went more than I did. You have to wear socks and of course I had flip flops on. They kept telling me that it was so fun and that I needed to try. Brent offered his socks for me to use and I did 2 of the slides. It was very fun and very fast. We can't wait to go back again. After Jump Zone we went to Zaxsby's for lunch and then came home and cleaned out the truck and van. I hope you enjoy the pics. They have 6 huge slides and it's indoors.

Can you believe it? So many posts in one day.

I'm sorry that I haven't been posting so much. We've stayed so busy lately. Brent just finished his first English class and will starts another English class and Art class in a week. He made a B in his English class. The kids have homework every night and by the time we get done with that and dinner (and clean up) and they get in the bath I'm ready for bed myself.

Faith's 9th Birthday Party

Here is a lot of pictures from Faith's B-Day party. Everything went smooth. This was her first slumber party. It did take a lot of planning but it was well worth it. The girls were very well behaved. I planned so many activities so they would not be bored and run around the house. It was a Hannah Montana theme and you will see in some of the pics some people trying on the wig. Brent and Will stayed for the party part (pizza, gifts, pinata, and a little Karaoke), Then they went camping. Keith and Lane were there too and then left when Brent and Will left. Holly stayed to night with us. The girls did get to sleep by 11pm I had put in some movies and they fell asleep while watching them. There were 8 total girls. and only 3 stayed to night. Several were going out of town the next day due to it being the beginning of Fall Break. The pictures did not stay in the order that I thought that they would when I downloaded them.

BINGO- They made their own bingo cards putting the numbers where they wanted and then I had enough prizes for everyone to win once.
Halle with the HM wig and then singing for us.

Holly and Keith both try on the wig.

Faith's cake

Will singing and him with the wig on before he left

Faith doing a little Karaoke

Faith hitting the pinata

Faith saw Brent walk in with one of her BDay presents, a keyboard.

Faith had a great time and we got so many great pics. I just could not post them all.

Pumpkin decorating

Here are some pumpkins that we decorated. The kids also painted some and we put glitter on some really small ones. I was hopping that the kids would be fine with just painting pumpkins and not doing a jack-o-lantern. But they still want to do big jack-o-lantern. I know that the wooden poles look rough but I'm going to try and paint them during Fall break.

Will's first mowing job

A couple of weekends ago Will wanted to earn some money. So he asked if he could mow the yard. We let him mow some of the yard that gets pushed mowed. He did such a great job. He didn't miss any areas.

The start of a new year!

I know it has been a very long time since I have posted! Sorry! I know that you are looking at the title of this post and thinking, "She must not know we are still in Aug." To our family it does feel like a new year. With school starting and going back to work. It is almost like starting a new year. I have to say, we had a great summer but I always like to get back to work. I need a schedule!!! We have so much going on. Brent has went back to school! After he gets his degree here at APSU he (or you could say "we") will be going to seminary. Keep him in your prayers. Pray that he will be able to work full time, go to school at night, and keep teaching our Sunday School class. He defiantly has a full plate. Pray for Faith and Will, they are having a hard time with not being able to spend as much time with him as they are use too. Will has started football. This will keep me very busy! He has practice 3 times during the week a hour and a half long and games on Saturdays. While he practices Faith and I work on her homework. She is not very thrilled about having to go to his practices. She still have not found what she wants to do. My work is going great. We have a great class. The last couple of weeks has flown by so fast. I can't believe that it is almost Sept. Although I LOVE the Fall season. I can't wait to decorate for fall. I love the smells of Fall, my friend Shelly got me a fall scented candle and I have burned it a couple of time already. I also keep checking WMart and waiting for the fall creamers, pumpkin pie spice is the best! This is also my favorite time to take pics of the kids playing in the leaves. Well now you know that I love fall and can't wait for it to come. This post was really about our new year but I got a little side tracked. Well, now that you know what my favorite season is what is yours and why? One more reason I like Fall, I get to wear sweatshirts and go and watch football games. Okay, that was 2 and you did read that right. I like football. Any kind, Will's games, Pro, or college. Sorry no pics this time. I do promise some this Fall!
