looking back

Well I started looking back in pics for the one with the plastic bat and ball. I couldn't find it, I didn't have a digital camera then. Just a regular camera. But I did come across these pics. This is his first year in T Ball two years ago. He was so tiny then.

I know what most of you are thinking! Wow! she is posting and she is up late!! It is almost 12:30 and I am wide awake. We went to Chick fil a with some friends after the game and I drank too much sweet tea. I love their tea. We got there a little bit before 8 and left at 10. Two hours of drinking tea.

My goal is to try and post everyday for a month since it's summer. So I will warn you a head of time who knows what will pop up on here.

Here is Faith at the game. It was very windy and her hair was everywhere. Her eyes look so blue in this picture. She doesn't really like the games but does enjoy running around with some of the other sisters.

We love ball season! Well not Faith, It is fun just to watch the boys bat and to see how much they have improved in just months. Will has liked baseball since he was about 3. I remember buying him his little plastic bat and ball. Then came T Ball. That was fun. They weren't sure where to throw the ball, where to go after hitting the ball. That was just fun, no scores were kept. Well now it's pee wees. This is a whole new ball game. It is very serious stuff.! They want to win. They know where to throw the ball. He enjoys it very much, he likes to go out and have fun. We have a couple more games and it will be sad to see the season end. We have made such good friends and it's just good family fun. I will not miss the hot days of sitting there for hours. But I will miss watching them play as a team. After baseball comes football. I will be letting you know how that goes. That is really where his love is.

A NEW POST....

I know it has been a long time since I have blogged. We have been soooo busy. I also have to tell you that I have started 2 other posts and each time I never finished and thought that I'd go back to and finish but never did. So I will post this. We are out of school now. We got out on the 22nd. We've been going ever since. Something almost every day. I thought that I'd get a lot done but have not accomplished much. I did get the kids rooms cleaned. That was a chore. I threw out lots of stuff. Faith kept coming in there while I was cleaning and I had to ban her from her room till I was done because she kept pulling stuff out of the trash. Today we were out at the ball field most of the afternoon. I got a sun burn on my legs so bad it even hurts to walk!!! I have not had a burn on my legs in a long time. Today was one the best games. Very intense! On Thursday night Will got hit pretty good in his ribs by the pitcher and I was so afraid that he would be afraid and not stay in the box but he did well. And that was the second time he was hit by the pitcher. The other time he got hit in the head but had a helmet on thank goodness. Those 8 year olds can pitch pretty fast. Oh, they did win!
We have also been grilling a lot. This is our first gas grill. Brent is quite the grill master. He is watching a grilling show right now on the Food Network.. Well, I just looked over and he is asleep!! The kids are watching the food network.
Next week we don't have a bunch of stuff going on but I do need to get ready for VBS which is the next week. I will try and post more.

I have been busy!

I thought that I would show you pics of why I haven't been blogging lately! I have taken up a new hobby and love it. I started embroidering about a year ago. My friend Shelly had one and I feel in love with all the stuff that she could make. (She is very crafty and very good at what she does). She got a new machine and sold me her old one. Needless to say I loved it. I decided to up grade. For those of you that knew that I had up graded about a month ago, that machine didn't work right so I took it back and got my money back and ordered a new one online. It came in on Wed. and I have been playing with it since. Here is a pic of the teacher gifts that I did. It's a flowerpot with their 3 initials. I do have a plant to put in it before I give it to them.

Here is Faith's crocs. I did them this morning in about 45 min. while everyone was asleep. She hasn't seen them yet. It's not the best work but it's the first pair that I did.

Today is a busy day we have Will's game at 1:30 and I have a brunch to go to in about 30 min and I'm not ready yet. I have a couple of towels to do and 2 burp clothes to do today. I hope to post soon again.

We've been very busy

Sorry it's been a while since I have blogged we have been very busy. I haven't been on the computer very much lately. Last Sunday the Lord took my wonderful grandmother to be with him. We had family in town so we tried to spend as much time with them as we could.

We also have baseball going on this spring. That keeps us very busy.

This is above Will's dresser. I thought about putting University on one side in the same lettering and Arkansas on the other side since he loves AR so much. Brent has him brain washed! HA! One day he might change and like TN but not likely!!! It was hard not putting anything orange in his room. He has asked me to paint a big red A on his wall. I don't think so but maybe on a piece of wood. I also have found a little razorback hog embroidery design to download. I think that I will embroidery about 6 on the bottom of his curtain.

These wall things that you see I got for FREE! I had a Uppercase living house party. I have done some others, like I put "Welcome" on the front door. We have several for Faith's room but we need to paint first. We also got the verse "As for me and my house we will serve the Lord.

Sorry it's been so long since the last post, we have been very busy with things around the house so I thought I'd better get upstairs and post. Yesterday and today we've been working on Will's room. We painted it a light gray and he wants it to be a Arkansas football room. I still need to add some things to his wall and then I will post some pictures. I also painted the front door today. Today is the first time we have seen the sun in about a 2 weeks. We have had so much rain here and the rivers are so high. I think we are going to get more rain before the end of the week.
